The W.E.B. Du Bois Centre is a library to commemorate the late W.E.B DuBois. The centre consists of the museum which contains memorabilia and his personal library, the Open Air Theatre where intellectual seminars, lectures and workshops are held along with cultural events. In addition is the ‘Marcus Garvey’ guest house.

Virginia State University is proud to offer its students a wide variety of Special Programs. From opportunities for hands-on experience to an exciting selection of travel-abroad programs, students at VSU are never limited to the traditional classroom experience.
The trip price includes accommodation, most meals, airport transfers, local transportation, guided tours, cultural activities, and all ceremonies. Specific inclusions are listed in the "What's Included" section above.
Most travelers will need a visa to enter Ghana. We recommend checking with the Ghana Embassy or Consulate in your country. We can provide invitation letters to support your visa application.
Full refund if canceled 60+ days before departure, 50% refund for 30-59 days, and no refund for cancellations less than 30 days before departure. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Yellow fever vaccination is required for entry into Ghana. Other recommended vaccinations include Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and routine vaccinations. Consult with a travel health clinic 4-6 weeks before departure.
While not mandatory, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and lost luggage. We can recommend trusted insurance providers.
